Faith

 

² My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, ³ knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. ⁴ But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. ⁵  

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. ⁶ But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. ⁷ For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; ⁸ he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

trials = testing of faith = patience. ( as this fruit is a valuable one. remain joyful in the process )

lacking of wisdom and discernment ? ASK GOD. He will give you wisdom freely. But you must ask in FAITH. you can't receive it without first believing. Trust , BELIEVE! Walk by faith and not by sight.

as the saying goes " Prayer is the Key to Heaven, but Faith unlocks the door "


the link between. trial. believing God and not what is seen by the naked eyes = faith. prayer, asking God for His understanding and realization of things knowing He is more than able and more than loving to withhold it from you if you truly truly believe. Believe that He will give wisdom freely and willingly if you are willing to let go of your own personal thoughts and just Trust Him. Just have faith in the unseen God who's hands at work can most beautifully be seen creating beauty and love.
